The Mossy Way

The Mossy Way, a project by Walter Martin & Paloma Muñoz, began in 2010 and is ongoing.

The Mossy Way was a broken and impassable ghost of a trail when we found it, rocky with high grass, debris, and fallen trees covering most of it. But we noticed in certain places along the way a luxuriant moss that upholstered the open spots and glimmered green bright in the grey. We cleared a path and nurtured the spread of those isolated patches of moss. It took years of close work engendering the ideal conditions for those islands of moss to spread and, finally, all join into a single plush green ribbon that winds through the woods.
